Love Lane

In an attempt to reinvigorate the streets around the iconic Temple Bar district, street artists have brought the walls to life with splashes of colour. The most romantic installation of them all is Anna Doran's Love Lane, a mural of colourful stripes, hearts and tiles covered in romantic messages from people all over the world. Once done, explore the rest of the district which is home to a number of indie boutiques and live musicians serenading passerbys.

Carmelite Church

Pay homage to the patron saint of lovers, Saint Valentine, whose remains are kept in Carmelite Church. With a special shrine erected in honour of him, many people come to the church and pray for his romantic guidance as well as to bless their relationships. Unsurprisingly, February 14th is a big deal here and couples can have their rings blessed in a special ceremony.
