National Botanical Garden in Dublin Highlights

    The Glasshouses

The gardens are home to a series of architecturally stunning glasshouses created by Richard Turner, that date back from 1843 to 1869. These Victorian masterpieces have become one of the most spoken about elements of the garden due to their architectural importance, each containing computer-controlled climates replicating the different environments around the world. The houses include the restored curvilinear range, the large Palm House, Alpine House and the complex for the succulents, tropical water plants and ferns.

    Rose Garden

Head across the Tolka river and have a quiet and peaceful walk around the beautifully scented Rose Garden - the spectacular circular garden has been growing roses since 1795. While wandering you can also have a look for the armillary type sundial placed within the garden, it's a rose lover's haven.

    Seasonal events
